After each load of laundry it is important to clean out the lint trap. Once the trap is filled with lint the overflow will start to coat the dryer exhaust. Lint is highly flammable due to its dryness. The heat from the dryer can eventually ignite the lint causing a fire to erupt inside the machine.

It is also important to clean the exhaust tube once a year to keep it from collecting dust, lint, and other pollutants. A clean duct will also keep your dryer working correctly for years to come.
