Restaurant Flood Damage, Salt Lake City
Large flood in Salt Lake City Restaurant.
After a torrential rain hit the Salt Lake City area this commercial building flooded. The flood water sat for almost 24 hours before SERVPRO of South Jordan/North Draper was called to start the mitigation.
Cleaning up a flooded restaurant is no picnic. Outside flooding is contaminated, known as "black water" or "Category 3" water in the insurance industry. In order to keep the clients of the restaurant safe from harm all the contaminated building materials are disposed of.
Quick mitigation of the contaminated materials is vital to an eating establishment. We were happy to help out in our community and hoping to have them open up again soon.
