Tenting a Wood Floor in South Jordan

Saving a wood floor from water damage.

Tenting a wood floor can be tricky if you don't know what you're doing. The goal is to get as much water to raise to the surface of the wood without ruining the finish.

We start by placing extraction mats along the grain of the wood. The mats use suction to move water from below the wood to the surface.

We place a tent over the mats that is connected to a dehumidifier to remove the humidity quickly from the air surrounding the mats. The dry air under the tent quickens the evaporation process.
